Postcards From the Pandemic opens at Radford University

In my head, for years, I’ve written postcards to B.J. During the pandemic, I decided to finally produce them. What started out as a personal project ended up becoming my MFA thesis project at Radford University. Twenty-four of the images from a much larger body of work, along with the postcard text, grace the walls of the Radford University Art Museum on Tyler. The show opened on March 26 and closes on April 3.

I had the opportunity to do an artist talk and the museum was gracious enough to let me post it here.

Special note to those who participated in the Stamp Project: I am so grateful to you all. I had planned to talk about your work during this, but it didn’t happen. I am in the process of doing a longer art talk about the work and I promise, you will get your due!
